Embroidered mixed media

Pumphouse on a Sunny Day

  • Details
As cruise ships slowly sail up Gastineau Channel, this iconic Pumphouse greets them as they near port in Juneau, Alaska. Situated on the beach opposite Juneau (on Douglas Island), this dilapidated pumphouse is part of the remains of an old mine from the Alaskan Gold Rush days.

This is a quality reproduction print of Susie Griffin's original embroidered photograph artwork entitled "Pumphouse on a Sunny Day". Originally, the embroidery was sewn onto a photograph. This a printed reproduction of that final mixed media image.

This image is printed on high quality luster finish paper with archival inks that will hold their color for nearly 100 years. The image size you choose will have a small 1/4" internal white border perfect for framing and slight cropping may occur in sizes other than 8" x 10" (shown). The watermark will be absent in the print you receive.

Please note that all diligence was given to accurately reflect the color scheme present in the painting. However, due to the varied types of computer displays, the exact colors you see here may be slightly different than the ones you receive.
